Money insurance can provide cover when cash is being carried to or from the bank by a business owner or one of their employees. It can also provide sufficient cover for storing a small amount of cash at home or on the business premises, both within and outside of normal business hours. The cover can extend to include personal assault cover to the business owner or member of staff if injured during a robbery. 

If there’s a circumstance outside of your control which results in you losing your licence to sell alcohol, loss of licence insurance can provide cover. Loss of licence insurance is an optional extra, designed to address the reduction in turnover and the costs incurred during the process of regaining a licence.

This includes where the person has not purchased the product themselves. You could consider product liability insurance if this is a risk you'd like to protect your business against.

Buildings insurance covers the cost of repairing or rebuilding your premises if it’s damaged or destroyed by an unexpected event such as fire, flood or theft damage. You’d like to ensure that you can get your business premises up and running after an unexpected insurable event, buildings insurance may be something to consider. 

If you  rent your business premises, then buildings insurance might be your landlord’s responsibility. Contact your commercial landlord or check your lease to see who’s responsible.
